Our school uses the CPOMS programme for collating and organising safeguarding data records. This ensures our records are safe, accessible and current. All staff have received training in inputting records into CPOMS.
All staff in West Rainton Primary School have also received training on Prevent; our duty to safeguard children and young people who may be vulnerable to the risk of radicalisation. The DSL, and other senior staff, have completed FGM awareness training in addition to other safeguarding courses.
