Year 6 have really hit the ground running in the autumn term with a class read of ‘Wonder’ by RJ Palacio. This emotional and thought-provoking read really signals the maturity and responsible attitude required to succeed in upper key stage two. It teaches us important messages about the kind of characters we want to be.
In maths we have consolidated our place value up to 8 digits and have worked on decimals and fractions. We have started the year with Harry Potter inspired science lessons.
In our school, a broad and balanced curriculum is vitally important to us and Year 6 is no exception.
